  Based on the SOG Bowie that helped founded our company, this knife has morphed into a top-notch working knife with the use of modern technology and materials (not to mention a little class thrown in for good measure!)
  
  Our modern replica is based on the original Studies and Observation Group knife secretly developed and used in the Vietnam War by the 5th Special Forces, as well as other elite soldiers. These individuals were specialists in reconnaissance, infiltration, and operations behind enemy lines. The SOG Bowie 2.0 has become a classic with unparalleled quality- The a sculpted crossguard, deep hollow grinds, precision detailing, TiNi coating, and faceted tip are all unmistakable signatures.For starters all the metal parts and including the blade, crossguard and pommel are Hardcased TiNi finished stainless steel. It looks incredible! The stacked epoxied leather washer handle nods to tradition with the use of interspaced white washers and provides an unmistakable SOG look. The thick (.240) AUS 8 blade is topped off with a faceted tip that is a SOG signature and completes the total package.
